We have designed this review book following the guidelines released by
the IRS with a heavy emphasis on the forms. Most forms the IRS has
indicated will be on the upcoming preparer competency exam are included.
Although we have included Form 1040EZ and Form 1040A in this syllabus,
we determined that using Form 1040 as the guide would be the best way to
illustrate the flow of the forms and keep a clear focus on the exam. All the
information provided is based on the 2010 tax year, a second edition of this
book will be released in May 2012.
There is no continuing education included in this book.
