This California Continuing Education class is a CTEC approved course, which
fulfills the 5-hour “continuing education” requirements for tax preparers in CA.
If you successfully complete this course in conjunction with the Federal
15-Hour continuing education course offered by TaxEase you will meet your
annual continuing education obligation for both the IRS and CTEC.
A listing of additional requirements to register as a CTEC registered tax
preparer (CRTP) may be obtained by contacting CTEC through their website
or by phoneat (877) 850-2832. TaxEase, LLC is an approved CTEC education
provider.
The CA continuing education course consists of 50 pages of information.
There are 50 questions, the student must achieve at least a 70% score
to pass. If a student fails they may retake the course at no additional cost.
The course information will be entered on the CTEC website and an
email certificate of completion will be issued.

informative and helpful to their practice. If the student wishes to
return the product, a full refund will be issued upon return of all
materials within 30 days of the date ordered and prior to submission
of any answer sheet for grading.
